iCONN(It is a search engine so this should not appear in your bibliography.)
This is a search engine that is a service of the Connecticut State Library and local public libraries. You will need your public library card number in order to access this search engine. It will give you access to a number of databases that have information not freely accessible to the public. When you log in on the table provided click on the link to Individual Resources. I would suggest that you look in a couple of databases listed here. They are Info Trac Junior Edition, Science Resource Center, and Health and Wellness Center. These are searchable databases that are at a reading level appropriate for Middle School and higher. You will find visual images, here as well as factual information.

National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease
This website is a comprehensive and up to date resource sponsored by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and National Institutes of Health. It is a searchable site having a search bar which includes an advanced search option. Use website common sense if you are getting overwhelmed by the amount of text on the web page. Look for words like facts or the abbreviation FAQs for answers to those frequently asked questions that may help you find answers to your questions. Those words are often links to other pages with good information.
